Giving Tuesday Pays SouthSide a Visit

Thanksgiving may have been last week, but Giving Tuesday sure did come with a lot of stuffing. Thanks to the generosity of the Board of Religious Organizations (BRO), all our kids will receive holiday gifts to cap off an already fantastic year for SouthSide.

 

BRO’s generosity was heartwarming; it took three carloads to collect and bring the gifts to the center, and even that barely cut it.  Several volunteers and 98 bags of gifts later, we took off knowing in a few weeks the girls and boys at SouthSide would be thrilled. Our friendship with BRO gives us so much joy, because they give our kids so much joy. The kids may not know it yet, but our friends at BRO have given them some treats they’ll not soon forget!
