SouthSide Early Childhood Center announced today that it is participating in Give STL Day on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, joining hundreds of other local nonprofits in the region’s largest 24-hour day of online giving. In 2014, SouthSide raised $1,800 through Give STL Day and looks to increase donations to at least $5,000 during the upcoming campaign.  Proceeds will benefit the school’s scholarship program, which enables 106 children living in poverty in St. Louis to benefit from SouthSide’s high quality early childhood experience and enter kindergarten with the skills they need to succeed. In this way, SouthSide Early Childhood Center can continue to give back to St. Louis today and in the future as our children grow into successful contributing members of the community.
